The portobello mushroom burger and brandy old fashioned are great. Cheese curds are just ok. Fun spot to go out for a quick bit and watch the game

Visited on off hours while out on the bikes. Reasonably priced drinks and food. They do not take credit cards, so bring cash. ATM available, but don't know fee

Good experience however if you order a burger, be prepared to have it fall apart. They use the same size bun on there 1/4, 1/3 and 1/2 pound burgers. The delicious juicy half pound burger literally dissolved the bun leaving YOU a mess. We had great service and the place has a nice welcoming ambiance.

Good service. Good food overall. Not a fan of dark rye on a Patty melt, but that's personal preference I guess. Cash only. ATM on site.

We stopped by here on our way to the Dells on a recommendation from a friend...and I’m so glad we did! My portabella Swiss burger was AMAZING (that truffle mayo is to die for). Service was good and fairly quick. My boyfriend’s steak sandwich was also good though he didn’t realize the sandwich only comes with the steak and the bread. I would love to come back out here for that portables burger again. Definitely a special spot for us from here on out when we come through town!

Stopped in for a couple of sandwiches after seeing photos posted on their site.Service is very good and polite. However, their sandwiches are average at best. My "sub style" was on a large hotdog bun. I can't review their soups. Personally, if you want a sandwich, I would not recommend. But again, the staff was very nice!

If you ever want to feel at home at a nice bar and grill come to The PressBox Sauk City. They have great food, great drinks, great customer service, and they make you feel like family. The food is very affordable and they have a wide variety to choose from. I highly recommend!

Super friendly. Got the grilled chicken and a half order of sweet potato fries. It was so filling and delicious.

It's a tavern. A nice older tavern with a great layout. You can literally see them prepare your food if you are in the back area (and are paranoid). Friendly, attentive staff (in various states of motherhood). . They make all their own soups and in staggering numbers. Brought the misses here and enjoyed twos soups, fried apps (bar food) and a tasty sandwich of the day special. We would pick the Press Box over the brew pup down the road.

i order the burgers and the meat is medium well.i was wrong and shall ask for medium rare.if i change it, that will be much delicious.

My wife and I stopped here on our way to House on the Rock. We both had the cod dinner with fries and coleslaw. Delicious food, quick service, and friendly server. Great beer selection. I highly recommend the Press Box Bar.

LOVE! I love their soup. I live four hours away from here, but I am so thankful my sister lives there so I have an excuse to visit. I don't go to Sauk City without going to this place.

It was good, but it wasn't as good as many people had told me. Food was flavorful, took quite a while to receive our orders. Wait staff was nice and friendly.

This is a must stop in Sauk City, the had 11 different kinds of get this, HOMEMADE SOUP'S , and we had 2 different types both were EXCELLENT, great menu sandwiches and full meals , very clean Fantastic ambiance, and service was impeccable, it's way more than a bar and grill...

Affordable place for dinner and a pint. Food is good, but the service can be kind of slow.

The food is first rate and the employees are polite. As for food that stands out, the burgers and grilled cheese are my favorites.
